Resmo doesn't grasp the whole "Man Of Steel"-concept, which includes the ability to fly, torch things by looking at them, x-ray vision for checking out bitches, freeze-breath, strength to move planets, ability to disguise his identity just by wearing glasses...the guy is a freak from another world, basically a god by Earthian terms.

Meanwhile, Batman is an eccentric millionaire, with some neat toys. Toys that Superman would smash, melt, freeze or otherwise destroy in much less than a blink of an eye.

Or bang Bruce's mom on the day he was conceived, that way Superman would be his dad. Then he'd be a rich playboy with a ton of cool toys AND super powers and he could overthrow the emperor and become the ultimate power in the galaxy.

I of course voted Batman. People may not realize this but in the comics Batman has fought superman twice and both times come out on top. Superman is strong and fast but ultimately he's dumb and relies to much on his powers. If Batman gets to pick his battle field and prepared then there isn't a super hero in the DC universe that he can't defeat, he knows everyone's weaknesses, knows how to synthesize any products that are difficult to get (I.E Kryptonite, he also knows how to synthesize red kryptonite which has been known to melt the skin of superman off and I can only assume he can synthesize pink kryptonite, Famous for making superman gay......er) The only way superman could win is if he catches batman by surprise or develops a power that batman isn't familiar with. Batman is also scrappy and a survivor, and at a point has kryptonite boxing gloves, superman is helpless against batman's FAR superior intelligence (nothing i've said isn't true to the comics)

fter Superman diverts a Russian nuclear warhead which then detonates in a desert, millions of tons of dust and debris fill the atmosphere, and Gotham descends into chaos during the resulting blackout. Batman and Robin train former Mutants and the brutal Sons of the Batman in non-lethal fighting to stop looting and ensure the flow of needed supplies. In the midst of nuclear winter conditions, Gotham becomes the safest city in America; the U.S. government, seeing this as a credibility-undermining embarrassment, orders Superman to take Batman down. Having been warned of the government's plans by Oliver Queen, the former Green Arrow, Batman confronts Superman. Symbolically, their duel takes place in Crime Alley, where Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered decades earlier. Batman defeats Superman (with the help of Green Arrow and a kryptonite-tipped arrow), but dies from a heart attack immediately afterward. Alfred destroys the Batcave and Wayne Manor and suffers a fatal stroke.
After Bruce's funeral, it is revealed that his death was staged as an elaborate ruse bub; Clark Kent (Superman) attends the funeral and gives Robin a knowing wink after hearing Bruce's heartbeat as he leaves the grave site, suggesting his silent approval of what will happen next. Some time afterward, Batman leads Robin, Green Arrow, and the rest of his followers into the caverns beyond the Batcave and prepares to continue his fight. His plan, which will take years of training and studying, is to build an army, and to bring sense to a world plagued by something "worse than thieves and murderers". He decides that this will be a "good life – good enough."

BTW Bruce Wayne is 55 in this story and STILL beats superman, a Bruce Wayne in his early 30's who doesn't have heart problems and is just reaching his prime. Absolutely no contest Batman's intelligence and desire to fight dirty wins out

I will give you in a fair fight on neutral ground Superman wins 10 times outta 10. but given his choice of battle grounds, time to prepare, and no rules. Batman wins 10 times outta 10 as a result of cheating. like getting help from the green arrow or beating the shit outta him with Kryptonite gloves. BTW this has come up twice in batman and superman history and batman has won TWICE! so where's your proof superman wins?
